Herald: Aasa Thorvaldsdottir – Continue to see her for consults. There are some new rules that should make resolving heraldic conflicts easier.

Item #3: Increasing Membership/Participation/Fund Raising
Should we hunker down and let current membership recover from various states of Burn-out and exhaustion? Just rest as a Barony after Madness and see how 2013 treats us? We can see whether Madness breaks even. Don't have much in the way of big expenses coming up. Resounding agreement from the populace.
Item #4: Event Planning 2012
Westermark Madness: Sept 14-16, 2012. Autocrats: Daffyd and Bridget: Site and date confirmed. Copy submitted to the Page. Theme is Samurai Madness / "Easy Peasy Japanesey". Next work party is this Sunday the 15th at Ed Levine. Had a fairly successful planning meeting in June. Scenarios and shtick being planned. Next planning meeting will be August 16th at Bridget's house. Hopefully we can get folk assigned to specific activities at that time. Michael generously agreed to host the auction again this year. All donations are welcome. Traditional Saturday pot-luck BBQ dinner.
Dates for Madness next year are submitted. So far, no takers for any other events. Position of autocrat is open.
Item #5: Populous Business
Possible second event for the 2013 calendar: War of the Houses (House Ginger vs House Honey Badger). A half day event / BBQ.
Discussion regarding a closer alliance with other groups in the area, and possibly bringing Crosston and Southern Shores in as Cantons under our Barony, if cleared with Kingdom. The thought was that this would allow us to hold fewer / slash joint events, and reduce burn out. The populace thought that this was something worth perusing, but expressed concerns that unless this would reduce the number of required officers and meetings for the other groups, it could simply result in more work for the Baronial officers with no real benefit.
