About the Barony and who we are

The Barony of the Westermark is located in the the Kingdom of the West, Principality of the Mists, and is part of the Society for Creative Anachronism ("SCA"). In mundane terms, we are located in San Mateo County, California.
The First SCA event was a tournament celebrating Beltaine, in May, 1966 (AS I) by a group of college students in Berkeley, California.
The Kingdom of the West is the first kingdom within the Society. There are a total of 18 kingdoms currently around the world.
The Principality of the Mists was formed in AS XIV.
The Barony of the Westermark was formed in AS XV. Catalin DiNapoli and Ana Moonstar are our founding Baron and Baroness.
